| Prosperity Action Team Gets to Work! |
The Prosperity Action Team has recently been formed to brainstorm ideas regarding money-making
activities to help Unity Christ Church become solvent again. Members of the team include Elizabeth
Okenfuss, Juankee McKinney, Rudolph Clay, Judi Coleman, Rochelle Nevels, Carolyn Perry, Linda
Gibbons, Barrie Scott and Pam Anderson, chair. If you have any interest in joining our team or sharing
ideas please contact anyone on this list.
Regarding escrips, which will now be reported along with other news from the Prosperity Action Team,
since December 2007 Schnucks has reported our proceeds at $199.22. Remember they always lag 90
days so this only includes through March. Together We're Better scrips has made Unity Christ Church
$153.15 though the past month. These accounts will take time to grow and with your continued support
they will grow every month. Thank you for remembering to use your Schnucks card and order scrips
from us on Sunday for other shopping you do.
THERE IS MORE COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE. PLEASE GET INVOLVED WITH US AND
HAVE SOME FUN!!!!

OH, WHAT A NIGHT!
Saturday, July 19th, many of us enjoyed a night of Trivia led by Quizmaster Brian
Korte. He was witty, smart, timely and all in all, GREAT! We are so grateful for his
expert execution of the role of Quizmaster! Another person who deserves unbridled
gratitude is Dr. Carolyn Perry, who coordinated, gathered the items and created most
of the presentations and donations for the Silent Auction. She is unstoppable and
wonderful to have on the Prosperity Action Team. Truthfully, we couldn't have
gotten so much accomplished in such a short time without each of the members of the
PAT: Rochelle Nevels, Juankee McKinney, Linda Gibbons, Elizabeth Okenfuss,
Carolyn Perry, Rudolph Clay, Judi Coleman, Barrie Scott and Pam Anderson. We
thank all of you who supported us with donations and assistance in so many ways and
for coming to the first activity of the PAT. Special thanks to the set up and clean up
crew. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You are all wonderful; the church could
not function without you because of all of the many things that you do behind the
scenes to keep us going. See photos.
The winning trivia team was the Duba Family at Table #6. They took home the $200
prize! We are pleased that they joined us and hope that we see them again soon.
Watch for the date of the next Trivia Night, which we will announce by the end of the
summer.
